Cultures Entwined

   yesterday

while walking down the street

I came across an unknown place

birds were singing

the sun was shining

and peace was spread within

a chocolate doll

walked down the street

beside a coconut boy

hand in hand

they smiled as they carried along their trail

right behind them

two more came

an apple girl

and a pear boy

hand in hand

exchanging smiles

walking along

they pass others

all alike

so many people

so many faces

colors

different hues

a wonderful thing it is

to see them at peace

sharing their cultures

and finds

enriching the others

with thoughts to be said

yesterday
