Pluto Is A Planet

Recently, astronomers have decided that Pluto shall no longer be considered as a planet. I strongly disagree. Pluto has been a "dwarf planet" since 1930 when it was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh. But now, astronomers are claiming that it is too small to be classified as a planet and shall now be considered a moon. And since it is no longer considered a planet it's new name is 134340.
ABOUT PLUTO:Pluto is the 10the largest object in our solar system. Astronomers believe that Pluto was once a moon of Neptune but it escaped its own orbit. Pluto is a reddish-brown color. Pluto's moon Charon is twice the size of the actual planet, but it's other two moons are smaller than Pluto. Pluto is also smaller than Earth's moon. Pluto's thin atmosphere contains traces of methane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.Pluto has a strange orbit, so at some times it may be closer to the sun than Neptune. If you were to stand on Pluto, the sun would look like any ordinary yellow star in the sky because you are that far away from the big gaseous ball. Pluto is found in the far outskirts of the Milky-way Galaxy next to the planet Neptune.
WHY PLUTO IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED A PLANET: The main reason why Pluto is no longer considered a planet is because asteroids in the asteroid belt were found that were greater in size than the dwarf planet. Also, stricter rules are now in place for what can be classified as a planet and Pluto did not meet those requirements.
WHY PLUTO SHOULD BE A PLANET: In my opinion, Pluto should still be considered a planet. It has been reconciled as a dwarf planet for many years and just because some larger objects have been found in our solar system shouldn't give Pluto the right to be down-graded to a moon. Our great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and our generation were raised learning that there are nine planets in our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. This is how many generations after us should be taught what is in the sky. Pluto has long existed and deserves the right to be classified as a planet. That is like saying a human with leprosy or Hansen's disease can no longer be classified as human because they have a deformity no other human has. It is unjust. Pluto should be a planet because it has, for a long time, been considered a planet and should continue for a long time to be a planet.
