The dictionary meaning of boasting states ‘ exaggerating or telling too proudly of one’s talents or achievements’. I feel, absolutely personally, that there is nothing at all bad in ‘boasting’. If we have certain talents which we should undoubtedly be proud of, then why not let the world appreciate( if they wish to, that is entirely their choice). It is more of a ‘boosting’ than ‘boasting’, for the immense self- confidence that builds in you ensures that you take up your boasts positively and indeed strive to work hard and maintain you boasting capability.

Boasting is an extraordinary way of expressing one’s desires, dreams and letting them feel ( I state the phrase’ On top the world’). The audience ( mainly your contemporaries) may have a pang of jealousy and a mild tinge of disgust and detest  towards you, but that, finally helps them to pave their own paths to fulfill their fates. Doesn’t it? Be careful, they might be in your place next time, ‘boasting’. So look out and do not underestimate
‘boasters”!!
