The question is unavoidable:
Who am I?
Well...
Under pressure and pain and toil of the world
I would say I am abused
But if you ask friends, family, girlfriends
I guess I could be the abuser.
Whenever I flex my prowess
I realize I am a God
Until a rip in my mantle is made
Then I shrink and am afraid.
My lover tells me
I am a sad puppy dog
I have always felt like a sighing lover
In a clockwork world.
As soon as someone hands me the soapbox
I take the role of the schitzophrenic prophet
But sitting in the back of the classroom
I see how much the meek profit.
All the rich kids tell me
I am an akward, cheesy poser
If they would stop to think, they would realize
Even Jesus was a loner.
There are moments when I believe
That I am a man
It is in those moments when I realize
What a coward I truely am.
