The third in the quatrain collection. After “killing” the old self, the feeling of rebirth, or metempsychosis, ensued. Born again, no longer tied to the past strife and dark emotions associated with heartbreak and love. Following a four/four/four/four meter, alternating between three and four words per line, with an ABAB rhyme-scheme.
