By MATT F.,

Train tracks lead to an unseen destiny. The dark hands of night smothering the sun.Standing in the fog, leaning against me,Immersed in our love, together we are one.Without your presence, I felt so alone;Scared of the future I clung to the past. Then one day you called on your telephoneAnd convinced me our love will always last.Around us mountains crumble to the seaThe forests burn with increasing vengeanceNo one is listening to hear the pleaOf a carnage that's about to commence. The pain and sorrow we get forgetJust stand by me and watch the sun set.by Matt F., Brookfield, CT
