It is a captivating silence
that fills my room and heart.
When your presence enters in,
from the rest of the world I depart.
I call on your name, and you answer,
"Yes, child I am here."
And so our conversation begins,
all worries disappear.

'Draw near to Godn and He will draw near to you.'
So real,
and completely true.
As I lay on my bed,
there is an outpouring of emotion.
Hurt for the world and its lack of devotion.
Why can't everyone feel the power behind your name?
Why can't they see?
If they just opened their eyes to your love and grace...
If they just had faith and would believe...
I pray.
I pray.
I pray for the lost.
I want them to be found.
Help me to search out those souls in utter darkness,
who scream without sound.
I lay there knowing what I have to do...
Acts 18:9 and 10.
'Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent;
for I am with you.'
