Soft, warm blankets
Encase my body like a cocoon
Slowly melting away the sores and sorrows
Exhaustion weighs down the eyes
Pulling them slowly down
Drifting in and out of consciousness
A dream tickles the mind
Soft and easy, it enters
Playing like a movie
So real, so certain
Slowly waking, savoring the last warmth of the sheets,
Feeling groggy, disoriented
The memory of the dream lingers on the mind
Encase my body like a cocoon
Slowly melting away the sores and sorrows
Exhaustion weighs down the eyes
Pulling them slowly down
Drifting in and out of consciousness
A dream tickles the mind
Soft and easy, it enters
Playing like a movie
So real, so certain
Slowly waking, savoring the last warmth of the sheets,
Feeling groggy, disoriented
The memory of the dream lingers on the mind
