THANKSGIVING

Being thankful is a gift
So don’t let it drift
For if you let it fly
It just might die

Being thankful is a pleasure
Treat it like a treasure
Being alone can hurt
And sting your eyes like dirt

At Thanksgiving time we are thankful
And the dinner is often bountiful
From the Turkey so nice and tender
To the eggnog mixed in a blender

Thank your family even when you’re mad
Otherwise it will make them very sad
It will help you cope with strife
So do it for your life
