A new day

The people today could care less

if the world were to end tomorrow

as long as they had money and were happy today

as long as they feel no pain or sorrow.

Their children however, will come forth

and completely change their ways,

They'll end the selfishness

and bring with them a new day,

Where everyone's happy,

and the sun shines brighter,

Where there's a cure for cancer

and people smile wider.

Where there's no hate or discrI'mination

Where no ones at war with another nation

Where the world is perfect all around,

Does anyone know what I'm sayin?

Where no one is hypocritical in what they say

and no one tells you what to think and believe,

This is the world for a new day,

People just need to open their eyes and see.
