Memories

Locking away all my memories of you
in thier own little spot in my mind
so that when we are apart sometimes
that little spot is what I will find

sifting through all our moments together
wishing that there were more of them
remembering how you always make me smile
seeing your eyes sparking like a gem

I'm finding I spend a lot of time
just thinking and wondering all about you
which seems kind of stupid to me
because I doubt your thinking about me too

but I can still love my memories
and dream about times to come
in my heart is where you'll stay
till I see you again in autumn
