times in this business when you will be the only one who does."

Looking back and forth
My mind in a daze,
Do I hear a noise
Or maybe I am in a craze.
I think I hear a creak
Or am I being teased.
Walking down the hall
To see who it can be.
Walk, Walk, Freeze!
Footsteps not my own
Footsteps at a different tone.
They're coming, O, they're coming for me!
I try to run, but its too late
I try to hide, but there's no place.
I'm done for repeats in my mind.
Footstep, Footstep, Footstep
The sound coming near.
Panic, Panic, Panic
Just like a deer.
I turn around to see who is my killer,
Foolish me, its my cat, Mueller!

I originally was doing my math homework when this poem popped into my mind. I hope that people will enjoy the mixture of suspense and humor. Most importantly enjoy a laugh.
