Icy Feeding Chaos

All the goats impatiently wait to be fed.
But, the kids run and play;
cantering in the-
deep snow.
Every morning they race across haze white, and-
glide across the ice. They-
hoist themselves up from numerous collision with rocks or trees.

Ice Crunches beneath my boots. I force the-
jammed gate open. I-
know to lift the bucket over my head. I dodge-
many beautiful, loving but,
naughty goats. Their lack of patience, No
quiet or peace.
Ruby Launches her front feet up on my-
shoulders. She-
tackles, desperate for alfalfa. There is little
understanding. Goats are desperate,
annoyingly, and disruptive at times, but I love them as I love this chore.

Winter is hard on them too.
X’s are them O’s are the cold, wet and ice. Who will win as the
year
zooms by.
