You were broken and beaten by many a man,
Torn and tortured by merciless hands.
They spat in your face,
Called you a disgrace.
And you said nothing.
They made you carry a cross
By yourself.
You feel three times
Before they actually helped.
They mocked your name,
Made fun of your pain.
And you still said nothing.
They nailed you to a cross
By your feet and hands.
You felt their evil gazes.
You knew their evil plans.
But, you said it any way!
The words left your lips
Like a sorrowful tune,
“Father forgive them
For they know not what they do!”
Now, I know all you meant
To say was,
'Look at the space between my hands.
This is how much I love you.
Can't you see?
I died to set you free.
Now, tell me.
What will you sacrifice for me?'
Torn and tortured by merciless hands.
They spat in your face,
Called you a disgrace.
And you said nothing.
They made you carry a cross
By yourself.
You feel three times
