A boy and a girl on a motorcycle
Heading towards home
They are always together
And they hate being alone
The young girls laughter
Is almost louder than the roar
Of the bikes motor
They have done this many times before
They both love each other
And trust each other with their life
That night the boy hoped
He would ask her to be his wife
Down the road the boy noticed
That the brakes had gone out
And that they would soon crash
He had no doubt
He didn’t tell the girl
For he didn’t want her to worry
And when she asked why they were going so fast
He told her he was in a hurry
He told her that he didn’t want to wear his helmet
And that she should put it on
As she reached for it
He noticed dusk was soon turning into dawn
As they slowly start to speed up
He realized what he had to do
The girl sat behind him calmly
For she had no clue
He told her he wanted a hug
So she wrapped her arms tighter around him
Without a sound he started to cry
For without his helmet his chance of surviving is slim
He knew without the helmet he would die
But he knew she would make it through
As the building came closer
The last words he spoke to her was “I Love You”
