My feelings for you are a bit euphoric

whenever I see you recover so quick

as quick as a hare

My feelings for you turn dark and vain

whenever I see you sick again

it is not at all fair

My feelings for you turn weak

as you give a smile so bleak

every time we touch

My feelings for you turn bad

as I wish that you were dead

when I see you suffer so much

My feelings for you turn worse

and I wish to kill you as I curse

'cause you are a burden to me

Then I realise that I might be your nurse

but my world is way diverse

you're not the only patient I see

“The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I guess that means we're just products of whoever made us and we don't have much control. The thing is, when people use that phrase, they ignore the most critical part: the falling. Within the logic of that saying, the apple falls every single time. Not falling isn't an option. So, if the apple has to fall, the most important question in my mind is what happens to it upon hitting the ground? Does it touch down with barely a scratch? Or does it smash on impact? Two vastly different fates. When you think about it, who cares about its proximity to the tree or what type of tree spawned it? What really makes all the difference, then, is how we land.”<br /> ― Val Emmich, Dear Evan Hansen

Afra.... Even if you are the nurse, the chosen one to see the hurt, know my pain is not in vain, I do this all to see the day, the one of sun on my face, to express hope and not disgrace, so maybe your feelings turn dark and vain, but you should know Im not the same, as with cold i turn to dust, then water and smoke, amongst all of us.
