A little flower
A little flower grows in the street.
It grows as the sun shines brightly on its petals. It grows that the rain flood the earth. No matter the weather the flower grows.
It watches the young children play with each other. It watches the children grow older and wiser. It watches as the children move away. The flower will grow alone and forever.
It watches other flowers be plucked and taken. It watches the others get a new life in a new home. It watches the others get cared for and loved. And sometimes the little flower wonders:
Why them and not me?
This little flower just wishes to be wanted, to be loved and be cared for.
Sadly this little flower, will stay in the street. It can only watch, and wait. For a day, where someone will notice and pluck the flower away.
