Waters, deep waters my pet

Don’t wade too deep,
Dark purple waters are always angry,
Waiting by your side,
Made of those emotions you’ve always pushed away,
Made of the salt that’s always been there,
Don’t get too close while your crying,
Your emotions will certainly leak through,
Disrupting what might have been a healthy life,
Corrupting who may have been completely you,
Keep your shoulder here and quiet for me,
So I have a warm place to return to,
After I am released,
After the waters are done,
After I am made the monster I must be.
