so he sips his tea
and thumbs his tie
but his thoughts
are not on tea
or tie or the
many women
fixing their hair
for the many men
to have something
to look at
they plan their days
according to their faults
and enjoy things like
a widow enjoys life
solemnity is non-existent
even in subtleties
they feel nothing
he is the one
who has not
yet sunk into
remission
don't worry,
they say
give it some time
let him sip his tea
and thumb his tie,
they say
eventually we will
drag him down
and give his soul
to the widow
who does not
fix her hair
for the many men
to have something
to look at
and thumbs his tie
but his thoughts
are not on tea
or tie or the
many women
fixing their hair
for the many men
