Your death was early,
It was not fair.
Your abrupt end,
Was not given with care.
Yet still I accept,
We all die in the end,
You just came first,
Out of all my friends.
Your body has passed on,
But you have not died.
The thought of you carries on,
And I wear it with pride.
It took some time,
But my crying has ceased,
Because now i realize,
You will rest in peace.
It was not fair.
Your abrupt end,
Was not given with care.
Yet still I accept,
We all die in the end,
You just came first,
Out of all my friends.
Your body has passed on,
But you have not died.
The thought of you carries on,
And I wear it with pride.
It took some time,
But my crying has ceased,
Because now i realize,
You will rest in peace.
