She pelts
into a rage,
a frenzy,
like a nuclear bomb
she turns deathly
rabid
can't contain this
erratic red.
pulsing hate: hate for hating
twisted up in
her thicket
of self-destruction
her soundless screams
are mortifying
her whole face
crumbled and jammed
agonizing
crumbled and jammed
disturbingly silent
the pillow suffocates
her fearsome sobs
control slipping,
wants to destroy –
wants to break free
from
herself.
