As the world spins
As the creatures of the earth
Run as they always have,
Alone, secluded,
In a forest of none
Lays a chipmunk
So soft, so sad
As he cowers and wishes,
Along comes a wish,
Flying in the sky.
He begs the wish,
To grant his
As he would be eternally grateful
The wish smiles,
The best smile a wish can smile,
And grants the lonely chipmunk’s wish;
To run free
As the creatures of the earth
Run as they always have,
Alone, secluded,
In a forest of none
Lays a chipmunk
So soft, so sad
As he cowers and wishes,
Along comes a wish,
Flying in the sky.
He begs the wish,
To grant his
As he would be eternally grateful
The wish smiles,
The best smile a wish can smile,
And grants the lonely chipmunk’s wish;
To run free
