What all I'd give
for the truth to finally roll off your tongue;
I'm surrounded by the ignorance and your harsh, unsympathetic words;
Your lies seem to crash into me one after the other from all sides;
What I'd give to just simply hear the words I know you will never say;
I see you gripping the very tips of your sanity, knowing the inane web of fabrications must stay intertwined;
In a matter of moments you can be the same one I've known forever, and the sudden twist of darkness that has you under strings grips your face and i wonder
how long can this go on before I finally hear the truth?
