He changed my life.
He entered it almost deviously; I certainly didn’t see it coming.
The way I handled the situation, I think I learned everything the hard way.
The effect he had on me, was it real?
It seemed so real. Like if I tried to reach out and grab it, I could.
But then one day, his presence was gone from my life.
He left much quicker than when he’d entered.
It seemed as if everything he’d ever said to me was forgotten by him.
He seemed to have forgotten about me.
Love turned into hate
Our relationship grew cold
He doesn’t talk to me anymore
Well maybe it was me.
And since it was, I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.
And even though it’s been a while
And since you’re never going to read this,
Thank you.
For teaching me what I would have never known if it weren’t for you.
But maybe one day
You can learn to just tell the truth and forgive.
Because only then,
Will things truly be okay.
