Gossip bounces off the walls, hits the lockers,
And shows up in the mouths of girls once again.
Whispers, oh so soft, were still loud enough to make my ears ring.
Walking to class seemed like a never-ending race surrounded
By pointing fingers and evil glares.
Maybe high school isn't as great as it seemed in September
