Blind-sighted faith,
Causes intolerance with disdain,
Coexistence is diminished,
By toxic acid rain.
A miasma of abhorrence,
Emits like disease,
Spreading contagious anger,
In no man will it seize.
History is recycled,
With contempt renewed,
Committing sins repeated,
These humans redo.
All these bad deeds,
To prove right the holy,
But religion’s bloody spear,
Pierces all in this folly.
For all the world’s religion,
Has produced heinous crime,
Has discriminated inferior belief,
Has defiled through time.
The jews may believe,
To be victims of life,
Yet they sentenced jesus,
New ideals caused strife.
He claimed to be Messiah,
The savior of their kind,
Blasphemy was rejected,
He was out of his mind.
So now the jews still sit,
They ponder and wait,
For another angel to descend,
Although it may be too late.
The next heresy,
Derived from one man,
Created a demonic cult,
Hitler’s Nazi clan.
Who looked down on minorities,
With distasteful disdain,
Quarantined the infections,
Fumigated all religiously insane.
These Nazis obeyed,
For the Aryan race,
Those sacred among men,
Eliminate the base.
The echo of rifles,
The cracking of flame,
The screaming of humans,
The laughter of the deranged.
Defeat came about,
Eleven million life-longs after,
Eleven million life-longs shortened,
Eleven million disasters.
We then reach muslims,
With radical actions wild,
The extremities of terrorism,
Depicted and defiled.
A new group has formed,
The Al Qaeda collected,
New techniques of destruction,
Suicide bombers erected.
For the intense religious views,
Led corruption to the faith,
Tricked believers to purify,
By destroying human race.
So they gave their lives,
For their bond with Allah,
Raise to the heavens, to reach women waiting raw.
What happened to the days,
Where men agreed to disagree,
Where men set differences aside,
Let opinions and faiths be.
What is the problem
With having separate ideals,
Believing in differing gods,
Whether others think unreal.
I believe that religion,
Holds a definition unknown,
“infinite war of mankind.”
For that is all its ever shown.
