The Social Buttefly

Vibrant colors and radiant designs,
The butterfly is the center of appeal
To all parts of nature.
The thorned stems and misshapen rocks,
Often left neglected, despite blooming petals,
And abstract designs.
Fluttering translucent wings,
A visual captivating spell.
Never perceived but from the outside,
Its inner Siren lays its trap.
A butterfly is not as simple as its brisk movements,
Nor as bright as its varied palette.
Not often is its deeds considered,
Not foten is its trickery acknowledged.
The insecure, immature insect,
Deflects with praise and acclamations,
Portraying false emotions.
Those who wear their feelings,
Lay shunned from the circle of beauty.
The brittle twig deceives not,
When it garners decaying splinters.
The dried-up leaves of autumn,
Lay covered in soil and secretions.
Not often is beauty conceived,
Out of the ones true to themselves.
A beautiful creek is never imagined
To be running from unsatisfying life.
A redwood tree is not thought
To strive high for heavens pure.
Beauty is perceived by what is shown,
The multi-colored butterfly.
