Blissful Simplicity

The sky--
Cloudless and blue.

Absolute perfection.
Seagulls dip down to the surface.

The sun is beaming down
On her already sun burned back.
She soaks it in,

Feeling it wrap her in it’s warm embrace.

And that green grass--
Flawless.
She hears a mower in the

Near distance.

Fresh- cut grass

On Nature’s breath.
The breeze combs through her

Long blond hair.

Waves crash onto shore--
Wrinkles surface.

Boats cradled, sway
Splashing, laughter

The sun slowly descends

Casting shadows.
Fires illuminate--
Crackling.

Colors fade to
darkness.
Full moon.
Dreams.
