Time crawls by
Like a snail
When you aren’t here
I try to occupy the time
By reading or
Playing a game
But when I check
The clock again
It’s as if the hand hasn’t moved
I put my head
On the wooden table
And let out a groan
I hear the tick-tocking
Of the old grandfather clock
He’s taunting me
Like a snail
When you aren’t here
I try to occupy the time
By reading or
Playing a game
But when I check
The clock again
It’s as if the hand hasn’t moved
I put my head
On the wooden table
And let out a groan
I hear the tick-tocking
Of the old grandfather clock
He’s taunting me
