Water water everywhere
and not a drop to drink
chemicals and pollutants:
they are to blame, I think

it dares not make a sound
simply rushing past my ears
and hoping I will drown

even inside my boat
the holes just kept on springing up
I could not keep afloat

a river of regret
pouring down inside me
