I watch you dance
to a silent song
moving quickly
to every beat
your dance is calming
and wonderful
to the eye
you reach so high
you can touch the sky
so many of you
dancing along
each to a different song
the wind is what
builds you up
but when it stops
so does your dance
but I'll see it again
the next
windy day
