Paper & Plastic
I used to have a paper heart
That I would wear on my sleeve
You ripped it off, crumpled it up
You made your choice to leave
So I made another heart
I kept it hidden and strong
Until i gave it away again
My decision turned out wrong
Now you walk in, acting cool
Your ego radiating off your
Hollister shirt
Sure you're cute and sweet
like Splenda
But I know your type you lying flirt
I've had my heart torn, thrown, forgotten
You think I'll come back to you like stretched elastic
You think my heart is still made of paper
Well guess what boy, it's Plastic

Your point is so apparent, even though the poem is witty, your point has not been lost in the laughter.
You have a flow and rythm that some other writers can not master.
You should be very proud :D
