Inspiration

My inspiration
has gone
left this earth
for good
yet I am still
inspired
for his spirit remains
pushing me onward
and when I am tired
grief overwhelms
my soul
and I feel as though I can't
carry on
he is there
for how can you mourn the loss of
an inspiration
when what you believe you've lost
has really just begun
to be found
