Am I Alone?

I walk in

They ask me

“Who are you with?”

Like I haven’t heard that one before

I am with me myself and I

But me is with her boyfriend

And myself is on a business trip

And I haven’t heard from I in quite a long time

So I’m with nobody

If only nobody would be on time once in a while

Or bother to call me back

Maybe I should start hanging out with someone

But someone’s never reliable

So I’m alone

Bitterly alone

So lonely

I can’t even be with a person

Because that will surely start a fight
