Down the Street

One sunny day my mom and dad
Came to say
You are not
To go down the street today.
I begged and pleated
To find out why
I was not to go down
The street today.
And then it came around noon
I took my lunch down the street
To find out
Where my parents retreat
And then I see
What is down that street
It was a special party
For me to wait and see
