Men break free from her shell
They’ve outgrown the world
It’s time for a new beginning
Tears of blood fall from the ocean
Once full of life now full of death
This new land is barren
The sky forever in darkness
Light is afraid
It hides in the dark recesses of the sky
Faint but visible
Observing the outcome

Torn
Its shell left to rot on the floor of time
