Dreams are lined up against the wall,
as if posing for mug shots.
Sentenced to life imprisonment
for a crime they did not commit.
They were all cast away,
all felt the heat of the word “failure!”
They were told they were not good enough,
not “right” enough to fit in.
And so they came here,
to the place of forgotten dreams.
as if posing for mug shots.
Sentenced to life imprisonment
for a crime they did not commit.
They were all cast away,
all felt the heat of the word “failure!”
They were told they were not good enough,
not “right” enough to fit in.
And so they came here,
to the place of forgotten dreams.
