Candlelight flickers
As shadows twist about
Dancing in the flames
Whose tongues caress
The chilled night air
Breaking cuckoo clocks
Whose chiming sound
Falls through cracks
As heels clack about
Through smoky rooms
Which clutch at clothes
And snuff the candle out.
As shadows twist about
Dancing in the flames
Whose tongues caress
The chilled night air
Breaking cuckoo clocks
Whose chiming sound
Falls through cracks
As heels clack about
Through smoky rooms
Which clutch at clothes
And snuff the candle out.
