I think about you all the time,
but i don't think I even cross your mind.
I shouldn't even care
but i'm longing for what's not there.
To me it seems like just yesterday,
to you our memories were nothingness that quickly faded away.
What happened to 'forever',
and that you'd 'always remember'?
Did your words mean nothing?
because i was always naive enough to count them as something.
You don't see my crying heart,
slowly ripping apart.
You don't know this pain exists,
or that it needs you to be fixed.
I can't force you to care,
but pray that you'd wish i was there.
Why don't I matter to you anymore?
What happened that we don't talk like we did before?
Do you know how much I long to be like we use to?
Sitting there, playing with your hair, asking for advice, and trusting you.
I want it all back,
you don't need to fulfill all my desires,
Just help me to be content.
This heartache in which I struggle with,
you have no knowledge it even exists.
Please come and take it away,
charm me, care about me, just for a day.
But then, even more, I'll need you to stay.
