So Close...

I came so close to the edge of defeat,
but you stopped me.
Without even knowing it,
you saved me.
I came so close to ending everything,
with all that was going on in my life what was there left to live for?
Then I met you.
We became close.
You talked with me, spent time with me, and ultimately stopped me.
For that I'll forever be grateful for,
after I came so close to the edge of defeat.

It's a shame how I felt like this too many times. This speaks volumes for a lot of people that are going through this type of thing. However i think that it would be better if this were a bit more on the creative side instead of so blunt. Overall, it's really good. Please take a look of my work and see what you think about it.

i felt that way once about a guy. a year later he was the one who nearly finished the job. Any way this is how i felt in the begining. Its a great feeling to be saved from life.
