Shattered

surrounded by the darkness
whats become of me?
in my head its darkest
i am blind and cannot see
my heart is full of pain
and nothing can be gained
from this same old show
with nowhere to hide
i am running from my fears
and every night i cry
but no one sees my tears
why doesn't anyone hear me?
its like they cannot see
the bruises and the scars
that my pain has left behind
please tell me loves not far
i've been waiting for so long
will i ever find it?
will we ever join?
so here i sit and write this poem
all alone with the loudness of the silence
shattered in the darkness
