Every day you haunt me
like a shadow
waiting to strike me down
and every night you shred my hope
into nothing
nothing but
fear.
But you are fear
but i don't fear you
you are hate, and i don't hate you.
You are hell
but i know heaven.
You are sin
but i know light.
And you cannot destroy me
because you cannot destroy faith.
You can kill me
slit my throat
destroy my home
and tear down my life
but you cannot win.
For i know light
and it is good.

so we may restore faith
