Frustration stands,
He knocks things over as he makes his way,
To me.

He yells, and screams,
Throwing things around this tiny room,
To me.

I’m hidden now,
A dark, cold corner, Unseen, The crashes continue.
To me.

He finds me,
Lifts me, strangles me,
Takes me.

Ash fills my mouth,
Burdensome, nasty, dirty cigarette butts,
To me.

Take the coal from my mouth,
He fights to get to you.
