One eyebrow raised quizzically
Quizzically, that’s a good word
For the arch of that caterpillar on your forehead.
Your eyes are green.
Greener than usual, I think. I can’t be sure
I never really paid attention.
And I think one of them is squinting
Sort of, and there!
It flinched, I saw it.
Your mouth flinched too
No, that’s not the right word.
Quivering, that’s it, or trembling, I guess.
Your whole body is shivering
Shaking, up and down and side to side
Kind of like those brushes in car washes
The ones that make that annoying squeaking sound when
They scrape against your soapy car window.
Anyways, seriously, you look ridiculous shaking like that.
