Held ransom for a moment
One coursing, brilliant moment
Silent but energized
With every eye distracted,
Fixed upon the circle
Which shifted, for that moment,
More slowly than sleep
As if dreaming –
Joining both eyes and breath
In celebration:
In electrifying welcome.
