Feeling weary
I went out
into the cool night air
The sky was clear
The stars alight
I turned silent eyes
To meet moons gentle glow
Which reached down into my heart
Bringing forth a dull ache
Of long forgotten bitterness
I had one stored there
A melancholy reminder
Of that cumbersome sin
The partial forgivance
Of another's crime
I went out
into the cool night air
The sky was clear
The stars alight
I turned silent eyes
To meet moons gentle glow
Which reached down into my heart
Bringing forth a dull ache
Of long forgotten bitterness
I had one stored there
A melancholy reminder
Of that cumbersome sin
The partial forgivance
Of another's crime
