I'm Just Me. Is that a Problem?

I own more books than make up.
That’s probably surprising considering,
I’m a teenage girl.
But,
if you knew me,
it would make sense.
Because,
I can read a book a day,
but,
I never wear makeup.
Just some deodorant and maybe
a spritz of perfume
on my wrists.
I guess
people think I’m strange,
They’ve told me that before.
But,
there’s more to life than
looks.
Personally,
I’d rather be smart,
creative,
and me,
than
pretty,
dull,
and
fake.
