Darkness

The smile faded to black,
My tears fall as sharp as razor blades,
You were so little,
You haven't lived life,
They swept you into darkness,
All alone never to live again,
Not knowing how to breathe,
Taking your last breath,
Snatched before you knew it,
Leaving the ones who loved you the most behind,
Shadows watching your every move,
As you take your last walk and fade into darkness.
