Those were the days
Do you recall,
When we were young
And dad's were tall.
The sunny days
Would come and go,
Now looking back
I miss them so.
The years they flew
So fast it seems,
We stretched our arms
To catch our dreams.
Now here I stand
And wonder why,
I chased a dream
That made me cry.
Yet still I know
That such is fate,
Don't end the show
It's not too late.
There still is time
For one more dream,
An open door
A loving theme.
Do you recall,
When we were young
And dad's were tall.
The sunny days
Would come and go,
Now looking back
I miss them so.
The years they flew
So fast it seems,
We stretched our arms
To catch our dreams.
Now here I stand
And wonder why,

That made me cry.
Yet still I know
That such is fate,
Don't end the show
It's not too late.
There still is time
For one more dream,
An open door
A loving theme.
