There is a tree across the valley,
And if I could, I would
Build a majestic golden bridge
To meet up with it’s branches.
I would dance along the metallic floor,
As warm bare toes touch each golden tile,
I cross gallantly.
I would look down on the mundane life of the people,
Through their dusty windows,
And pity them as I pass them by.
I would let my mind release them
As I walked towards the future,
Towards the tree,
Towards the distance.
And if I could, I would
Build a majestic golden bridge
To meet up with it’s branches.
I would dance along the metallic floor,
As warm bare toes touch each golden tile,
I cross gallantly.
I would look down on the mundane life of the people,
Through their dusty windows,
And pity them as I pass them by.
I would let my mind release them
As I walked towards the future,
Towards the tree,
Towards the distance.
